A Creative Reset for Artists In Seville

November 4-10, 2026
Seville, Spain

12 Spaces Available

Are you an artist who resonates with at least one of these:

  • hasn't picked up their tools of the trade just for themselves in months

  • feels creatively flat

  • spends more time procrastinating than making

  • wants uninterrupted time to think

  • misses being curious

  • has this nagging fear that you’ve “lost it”

  • is interested in learning how to create a series of work from an idea

This retreat is for you! Come create with us!

"Going to this retreat was everything. It’s one of those things that you can imagine will happen but that until you experience…you don’t know how golden it is. Being around creatives for three days was soul filling. I felt present in the moment and it isn’t often I’m in a space where that happens.  I felt challenged. I felt safe. I felt seen and heard. For me the weekend was all about being brave enough to show who you really are. This retreat is a special space to be… filled with so much love, learning and kindness from everyone.”

— MaryBeth Clarke

This week is not a week “wake up, create, critique, repeat”. Think more along the lines of “artists residency with guidance.” It’s not a workshop, not a vacation, and not a tour, although all of those will be integrated into your week. It’s for artists who need space to rest, reset and gain clarity. There will be time to work alone on a project you’ve started, or on an idea you want to expand. There will be workshops intended for you to try something new, there will be walks in intentional noticing walks in Seville. There will be opportunity for you to create and go home with a new body of work if that’s your intention for the week. Your body will feel rested, your mind will feel clear and you’ll be inspired to create for yourself.

It comes from paying attention.
From slowing down long enough to notice.

“This retreat pushed me in uncomfortable ways. It challenged me in creative ways, and reconfirmed that I am just who I need to be. Some moments took my breath away and some made me laugh till my cheeks ached. So thankful I took the leap. I am better for it!”

— Michelle England (Creative Soul Retreat)

“Deep gratitude for creating a space where I’ve seen myself grow exponentially. The retreat meets every individual where they are at-whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned pro. By encouraging deep connections and curiosity, acceptance of self and other is at the forefront of the retreat, and thereby allows the creativity to flow

— Anna Borcherdt (Creative Soul Retreat)

“"This retreat was better than I could have anticipated. I learned so much, met so many great people and connections, and gained confidence in myself as a photographer. With no expectations, I picked up my camera and started shooting, playing around with the props, analog lens modifiers, and talking to the people who had showed up to model for us. The effect was like a kid getting to play with toys again. I came with no expectations, had so much fun, and left with a bunch of great new images for my portfolio, feeling inspired and creative."

—Mel Hattie (Creative Soul Retreat

“Unless we bring to our practice something additional, something creative, something of ourselves, our picture does not live”

— Emily Carr

ABOUT YOUR HOSTS

  • DEEDEE MORRIS

Deedee Morris is an awe-inspiring photographer whose work is not only beautifully raw, but is also incredibly honest. She dives in deep with her subjects, getting to know them on a personal and spiritual level, and is then able to capture a single moment that portrays their vulnerable individuality in stunning ways. Her work celebrates family, motherhood, self-understanding, and love of the natural world, all of which are outward expressions of her own values and ambitions. Deedee’s pursuit of authenticity is a rare and powerful experience.

  • SONJA KONING

With her enthusiastic and curious nature, Sonja tends to fall in love with a lot of things. This really has helped her to get to make the best out of every (photo) situation. And allowed her to travel over the world with her camera.

The contradiction of fashion photography, traveling and being surrounded by groups,  and country family life is what keeps things balanced out and staying interesting for Sonja.

She captures the stories that are already there, or creates ones with her stunning conceptual work. Check out her website!

  • HANNAH FITCH

Hannah has a passion for creating inclusive, supportive spaces for women to gather, exhale and laugh! With her intentional intuition, she makes and sees connections all around her - everywhere! constantly! (can’t seem to shut it off ;)

Hannah lives for sharing experiences with others, learning their unique life stories, laughing until it hurts, wandering down alleyways, popping champagne on boats, and doing it all again the next day.

FAQ’S

Who is this retreat for?
This retreat is for any creative folk who are needing to rest, explore creative ideas, refresh their creative voice and focus on their work in an encouraging, non judgmental, space where they are taken of.

Is there a payment plan?
Yes! We can create a plan that works for you. Just ask!

Yes! I will be sending out an email to all participants before the retreat so you can let me know any allergies/dietary restrictions you might have.

Where are we staying?
You can check out our beautiful villa here

Where would I fly into?
There is an international airport in Seville, however, if you are flying from Canada, you might find flights more reasonable in terms of length of flight and price, to fly into Madrid and take the train to Seville. If you are coming from within Europe, Seville is your best option.

I’m not a professional artist, but I would love to have a creative practice. Can I still come?
Absolutely. This is an incredible space to explore what that might look like for you.

What’s your cancellation policy?
Once your deposit is paid, seats are transferable but non refundable, minus the deposit.

Why is dinner scheduled so late?
In Spain, eating later is the expectation. Finding restaurants open earlier than 7pm is difficult. Many shops and restaurants also close for siesta which is why most of our lunches are at our villa.

Any other questions?
Feel free to shoot me an email!

What might a day on this retreat look like?
Slow mornings, journalling each day with prompts meant to help you activate your curiosity, group discussions, free time to explore and create, workshops with one of the hosts. Lunch and dinner eaten communally either at a restaurant or at the villa.
